Intel Development Training

Back to All Intercession Updates

IDT 2015 is beginning!  This training offers a peek behind the scenes of the intel process and is a journey of discovery, exploration and expansion.  We will share more about our experiences and “evidences of transformation” over the upcoming months. So, expect some fun updates!

If you are interested in next year’s IDT here are a few tips!

  • Enjoy exploring your team Intel assignments!
  • Allow time in the Intel process to “marinate” on the assignment to expand and refine your submission.
  • Complete your Level 1 Training.
  • Set aside time for team calls to learn more about intel, grow and build community with your team!
  • Share your interest with your TL and ask if he/she would submit your name to Christine Casten for those interested in next fall’s IDT 2016.

Quotes from IDT 2014 Alums

“I was able to slow down my habit of entering in to ‘see’ what the Lord wants to show me and then quickly moving into interpretation or filling out the Intel form. With ‘the group’ discussions/processing I found myself slowing down to really take in and observe more and for longer in what I was seeing.” –Angela Young

“It went a long way to helping me feel really “at home” with Intel, as well as to more fully understand the diversity within the Warrior Commission and the enormous potential for the group’s influence in the body of Christ.” –Barbara Romfo

Times of Transformation. September 2015

Do you hear it? What is that sound?  That is the sound of stretching!  Every time we grow in Christ, our capacity for Him is stretched and filled. Each time we say, “Yes!” to Him, we open ourselves to acceleration, growth, and increase.  We live a lifestyle of transformation. Each step we take moves us closer to His heart and embeds it more deeply into our DNA.

Listening and developing sensitivity to the times and seasons of the Lord are important.  Sometimes it requires that we make tough decisions to shut things down and go into the secret place with Him, like Graham is doing now.  Other times, it means we step out of our comfort zone and rise up to the next territory He opens for us-like we are doing with our intel process in TWC.

We have started the Intel Development Training with an exploration on growth. We are receiving some amazing insights for our intel transition. Below are a few quotes from some of our participants that capture the process of transformation: what keeps us moving and what causes us to stall. There were many other thoughts that were equally amazing and I hope to share some more at a later time!  Here are a few for you to consider!

“When my character becomes stale, complacent and stuck I focus on my wound. Courage, Faith and trust die. I become a one hit wonder. I bleed out. Without Love, God’s Love, I will give up before I reach the summit of my potential.  Without trust I will continually doubt.  I will have to repeat lessons.”

-Jane Love

“As I submit myself to the process of refinement God is gracious to open me up through that process to more clearly “hear” Him.  The more humble I am, or more vulnerable I become, I’m establishing my new nature and that brings me into the place with Him where I can “perceive” what He wants to “share.” As I submit myself to the process of refinement God is gracious to open me up through that process to more clearly “hear” Him.  The more humble I am, or more vulnerable I become, I’m establishing my new nature and that brings me into the place with Him where I can “perceive” what He wants to “share.” -Mark Barber

“Character is about walking in step with the Lord, practicing the fruit of the Spirit, and asking Him to help us be more like Him. In doing this the gifts flow automatically out of that lifestyle. Otherwise it is just a white knuckled effort to find the “anointing.”  -Deanne Cline
